Today (Monday 29 January 2018), CNWL launches an Urgent Care Team for child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS). The team will provide rapid response, prompt assessment, and where appropriate intensive time limited interventions for children and young people up to the age of 18 who are experiencing an acute mental health or emotional crisis.
The NHS Grenfell Trauma Service for Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) is a new service which has grown out of the existing local Parkside CAMHS service, in response to the huge and unprecedented need for support for the children and young people of the local community following the fire at Grenfell Tower in June.
