Problems CAMHS works with

The kinds of mental health problems that we can help with are shown below. We are all different, and our experiences of problems can be different too, so not everyone who has experienced these problems would describe them in the same way. CAMHS workers are specially trained to support young people with these problems.

There might be some young people who visit CAMHS with problems which aren’t described in this section. Please ask your local CAMHS or CAMHS worker if you’d like any information that isn’t included on this website, or if you have any questions about the sorts of problems CAMHS can help with.
